Darin Rowe is the national president of Taylor Morrison Home Corporation’s Build-To-Rent (“BTR”) Segment that features its Yardly brand.  Taylor Morrison is a leading national homebuilder and developer based in Scottsdale, Arizona with almost 20 geographic for-sale housing divisions across the country.

Since 2019, Taylor Morrison has continued to evolve its for-rent real estate strategy that blends multi-family apartment and traditional for-sale home elements to create a diverse housing offering that has sparked unquestioned consumer demand.  This new and underserved “lower density multifamily” segment has been successful attracting residents who yearn for something more aspiring than traditional apartments or no longer need the space of a traditional home but do not want to go back to apartment living.  A key differentiator of these amenitized communities are the individual backyards for each home, hence the name Yardly, which translates into many residents living with at least one pet. Therefore, Yardly elevates the lifestyles of both humans and pets.  

Each community is branded as a “Yardly Built by Taylor Morrison.”  The current Yardly portfolio includes 5,000+ homesites and more than two-dozen owned communities across Phoenix, Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin, Houston, Tampa/Sarasota, Orlando, Charlotte and Raleigh with additional expansion markets under consideration.  

Mr. Rowe is in his 30th year of homebuilding having diverse cross-functional operational experience with major public builders ranging from Finance and Land Acquisition to complete operational oversight.  Darin’s focus is on continuing the ramp-up of Taylor Morrison’s BTR strategy with a growing land pipeline and active projects underway across the country that will solidify Yardly as an industry leader in this segment.

Mr. Rowe has spent most of his career in Arizona with stints in the Michigan, California and Texas real estate markets. Prior to Taylor Morrison, Mr. Rowe spent almost 10 years at Meritage Homes in roles that included Corporate Vice President of Asset Management.  He also held roles of increasing responsibility at Pulte and Richmond American.

Darin holds a BBA from the University of Michigan Business School earning High Honors as well as an MBA from Arizona State University earning the same distinction.  Mr. Rowe is a CPA and holds an Arizona real estate license.
